It's always exciting when we work with a new client to design their home. There's so much to discover and we have a fabulous time getting to know them and their family in the context of how they live. Over the course of time as the project progresses, it's quite bittersweet when the project comes to a close. But here's the thing- as families and lives evolve, so do the spaces they live in. We find that many of our 'new' clients never leave and are with us, and us with them, for the long haul. Honestly? That's one of the best parts about the work we do.

There's sometimes a misconception that transforming a home is a one-off project. We come in, wave our magic wand and depart, leaving a dream space in our wake. In reality, we work with clients for many, many years. We don't design to trends that date in a nano-second; rather, we design to a lifestyle and life circumstances. Over time, these shift. We recently transformed a space that we designed almost a decade ago as a young children's play area off a main living zone. Now, with the addition of some gorgeous french doors, an oversized sofa an almost bomb-proof rug into a cozy second living room, a space that is destined for a thousand and one teenage 'gaths'.
Interior design and styling is an ongoing process, one that can be applied over time. Often, a client will come to us with a specific problem they'd like to resolve. They start with a key room, usually the 'good rooms' that are the most visible and obvious, the ones that visitors see when they come over. This could be the front living room, a main living area, a meals area, a family room or perhaps a master bedroom. Our project focuses on solving that specific interior dilemma, and once ticked off, the client may take some time to enjoy the space, whilst side-eyeing other areas in their home that they'd like to transform. We're always thrilled when a client wants to explore 'what's next?' Some of our favourite projects have arisen off the back of a previous project, such as creating space in a master bedroom for a busy working mum to enjoy (solo, preferably!). Another favourite is making over the spare bedroom from holding bay to beautiful guest room. Our role as Interior Designs is very much unlocking the potential of a space. This doesn't have to happen overnight- nor should it!

We love our repeat clients and truly, wholeheartedly appreciate their trust in us as we transform their spaces. Naturally, we build a relationship over time and we love being part of the next evolution of their homes, and by default their lives.
