We recently met with a client that had just moved into their first home a couple of weeks prior. They had brought the little furniture they had with them from their smaller apartment. They knew that they were going to make some expensive purchases but just didn’t know how or where to start. They felt frozen with uncertainty and not sure what to do with the spaces. Our lead designer Sophie joined them for an in-house workshop where they talked about what was staying, what was missing and how they wanted to live in the space. During the workshop Sophie learned that they were teachers with green thumbs, loved the colour blue and they had gift vouchers to spend at Freedom as a wedding gift. She also had a much stronger understanding of their budget, all big clues to help with direction in guiding to make decisions for the space.
