My Beautiful Abode has a somewhat different way of working with clients than some of other interior design studios. While yes, we can completely take over the whole process of designing and styling your home from a blank canvas (and we LOVE a blank canvas!) we are also firmly committed to empowering and equipping our clients to make confident decisions for their spaces over the long term. We find a lot of our clients prefer a gentle guiding hand via a mood board and a shopping list that clarifies and articulates their ideas, that they then implement within their space. Others like more interiors intervention, if you will, and utilise our personal shopping service where we shop with consideration and for thought about how to fit out a space.
As designers, we have access to suppliers with beautiful products that aren’t available to the public. Working with My Beautiful Abode gives access to our vast network of trade suppliers, where we find you pieces that you never see in the catalogues flooding the letterboxes at this time of year, including locally-made sofas. Of course, our support isn’t bound by geography- if you’re not in Melbourne we can catch up via our online decorating service and send you off to the shops with a robust plan of attack.
