It’s been a fabulously busy year for My Beautiful Abode. We’ve worked with an incredible mix of clients across a diverse range of projects, creating beautiful spaces that people love to come home to, that people love to work within, and that tween-agers like to write angst-filled poetry from! We also moved into our beautiful new studio, so we have a lot to celebrate as the year draws to a close. What better way than to share our top five blog posts from the past year?
1- That’s what sofa dreams are made of… 
This post pops up in our Analytics again and again, and we know that this will continue over summer with the upcoming furniture sales. Read this before you hit the sales!
2- Upgrading from ‘that’ll do’… 
This post seemed to hit a bit of a nerve when we shared it on our social media platforms, Facebook in particular. We’ve all been in the situation where we decide we can’t for a second longer live with the hideous window furnishings that came with our house, and the team from MBA is here to help!
What happens when a tweenager wants to assert their personality (and independence) by having a matte black feature wall in their bedroom? What happens when their mother emphatically says ‘that’s a no from me?’ Enter My Beautiful Abode, armed with second to none negotiation skills that leave tween and mother both delighted with a makeover.
The entire team at My Beautiful Abode was utterly thrilled when we were notified that yet again, the studio had been awarded Best of Houzz. It’s such a fabulous platform and it is an incredible honour to achieve this recognition.
